Membership Benefits

NISCA membership provides coaches with $1,000,000 liability coverage that covers the coach while they are coaching swimming, diving or water polo.  The coverage is for the member coach only, not the athletes or any school or business entity.  Diving is covered while coaching 3 meter boards or less.  If the coach has a business, he/she needs to have their own insurance, as the business would not be covered.

 

The insurance covers any COACH that is a current NISCA member. The NISCA membership year is from August 1st through July 31st and automatically expires after that date. Coverage does not apply until the date the coach has renewed their membership each year. 

 

The insurance is a $1 Million Liability Policy that covers on the NISCA Member Coach at any facility they are working in. 

 

The Insurance will cover any NISCA Member Coach, whether they coach swimming, diving or water polo. 

 

The Insurance DOES NOT COVER Athletes, it only covers Coaches.

 

Coaches must have completed Concussion Management as listed on this form (except numbers 3 and 4): Concussion Supplement

 

            

Accident Coverage
*    $25,000.00	accidental medical and dental
*    $5,000.00	accidental death and dismemberment
*    $1,000,000.00	aggregate limit per accident
*    $1,000.00	deductible per injury
*    $2,000.00	benefit for chiropractic/physical therapy subject to a $50.00 per visit limit
*     $1,000.00	benefit for durable medical equipment
*    $1,000.00	benefit for prescription drugs
