Welcome to the NISCA Service page. Here you will find service projects and organizations that NISCA is associated with. We encourage NISCA coaches to get their teams involved with community service projects in their local area at least once a year. These can be fundraising projects, awareness raising projects or other types of community involvement projects. Below are links to 3 causes that are important to NISCA. Please get involved with one of theses or any of the many other worthy organizations in your area.
The Ted Mullin Fund Hour of Power - NISCA is a partner with the Ted Mullin Fund. We as an organization encourage all of our members to participate in an Hour of Power event during their season. The Ted Mullin fund supports research into sarcoma, a cancer which effects mainly adolescents and young adults.
Shallow Water Blackout Prevention - Information about preventing shallow water blackout. Get information to give to your swimmers and parents.
Special Olympics - Information about how you team can partner with the Special Olympics for service projects.
Tell us your story:
Has your team already done a community service project? We want to hear about it! Send a description of the project that you did, the cause that it benefited and why it is important to your team. If you have some photos or video from the event we would love to get those too! Send the information (Word Doc is preferred) to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will highlight the projects that our NISCA teams are doing and maybe inspire others to join as well!
